FABIO VENTURELLI ELECTED ONE OF 10 BEST CEOS IN BRAZIL
 

São Paulo, October 25, 2021 – Fabio Venturelli, CEO of São Martinho, has been elected one of the "10 best CEOs in Brazil" in 2021 by Forbes magazine.  According to Forbes in its September edition, the executives chosen were who "best faced the health and economic crisis scenario, while maintaining or even improving the significance of their brands and the financial indicators of their businesses."

In the brief profile featured in the magazine, Fabio describes the main challenges faced by the company's management during the pandemic, the strategies used to keep field operations safe and the opportunities he discovered to accelerate business. "In the face of the greatest adversity, we delivered the best results in history (...) I always envisioned - and we built - a company that was resilient to the point of generating results even during the worst moments," he recalls. He also reveals some of São Martinho's plans for the future: going digital and driving innovation.

The Forbes list of best CEOs was compiled in partnership with professors at FGV, capital market professionals and entities, as well as boards of directors.

500 Latin America

In October, Venturelli was also selected to “500 Latin America”, a list published by the news platform Bloomberg Línea of the 500 most influential people in the Latam region across diverse sectors and activities, including entrepreneurs, philanthropists, athletes and public authorities from 18 countries. According to the platform, the list is not a ranking but a selection of personalities who are “inspiring and resilient” leaders capable of generating value in their sectors, especially during the pandemic. “The selection focused on the efforts taken by many of these individuals to contain and address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
